88 rx7 needs to be push started (flooded?)

I have an 88 rx7 gxl non turbo. it's not starting all the time anymore unless pushstarted and smells rich in fuel so im guessing it's flooding. Now I'm trying to figure out why it's flooding? any ideas?


for anyone reading this that may have the same issue the problem was easily fixed. The issue was i had stuff built up in my fuel lines causing the throttle to be a little sticky and not closing right away when turning the car off. all I needed to do was put some fuel cleaner in the tank and now it turns on no problem
